Resiblock Resiecco is a solvent-free sealant suitable for dense paving products. It is ideal for wet-cast concrete products (simulated paving stones) like SmartStone and Terrazzo tiles. Acting as both a joint stabilizer and a protective agent, Resiblock Resiecco stabilises paving grouting and offers superior stain resistance to paved surfaces. With its deep-penetrating formula, Resiblock Resiecco provides long-lasting protection by reaching into the surface of the pavers. This sealant may be used on residential driveways.

Coverage could be anything between 1-6m² per litre.

Why so vague?

• The actual coverage depends on the type of paving material, its age, porosity, jointing material, joint widths, and even bedding material. The degree of joint stabilising required, will also greatly influence the consumption.  
• We recommend purchasing one 5L container, initially to apply in real life conditions. From there, you could more accurately calculate quantities required.

What tools are needed?

1. Watering can with Rose Head (Rose Head is important)
2. Paint Roller or squeegee
3. Gloves
4. Safety Goggles

Notes to keep in mind

1. Make sure the surface and jointing sand are thoroughly dry and free from dirt.
2. Ensure that Resiblock Resiecco is only applied when there is no chance of rain within the next 24 hours.
3. Do not apply in extreme temperatures (below 5°C or above 30°C)
4. Ensure paving is thoroughly swept and that no jointing sand remains in the chamfers of the pavers.
5. Accurate application rates are critical to ensure full joint stabilisation (typically 1 litre/2m² when treating both paver and joint).).
6. A minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 24 hours between the first and second coats. Two coats are recommended to prevent fuel/water infiltration. Only one coat is needed when applying on clay pavers.
7. Avoid walking on the sealed area for 3 hours after application and do not drive motor vehicles on the surface for 24 hours.
8. Always wear protective gloves and goggles. No smoking. Wear a mask when working in confined areas.
9. Allow the Resiblock Resiecco to soak into your jointing gaps to absorb deep enough for maximum results.

Application Process

1. Pour your Resiblock Resiecco into your watering can.
2. Sprinkle onto surface area where Resiblock Resiecco is required.
3. Spread the solution across the paving using a paint roller or squeegee.
